Protein shakes are a great option during Phase 2 and Phase 3. They add variety to your diet, as well as make an easy, on the go serving of protein. When selecting a brand of protein whey, you want to read the ingredient labels carefully to ensure there are no sugars or starches in them. You’ll want to find one that is either unsweetened, or sweetened with stevia only.
One serving will replace your serving of protein for that meal. Your fruit, veggie, and melba toast can still be eaten.
